The application of lubricants ensures optimal operation and the long-term performance of mechanical, mechatronic and electronic components, such as in the case of adjustable seats, window regulators, brake systems and in transmissions. With lubriLine, DOPAG has developed a product line specially tailored to the needs of the automotive industry. Various drum and barrel pumps, metering valves, dispensing valves and components for testing and control can be put together as part of an individual system concept depending on the application. DOPAG’s high quality standards guarantee high precision, reliability and reproducibility at all times.
PU gaskets protect components
For the production of PU gaskets, DOPAG offers an efficient solution for automated production in the form of dynamicLine. In combination with a linear or industrial robot, gaskets can be applied to brake lights, ventilation grilles or speaker casings. Thanks to the automated application, the seals can adapt to the component, they have no coupling points and, in contrast to inserted seals, they do not need any additional adhesive tape for bonding. The system is rinsed with water, which is good for the environment, and there is practically no waste. DynamicLine is also suitable for the dynamic processing of additional polymeric reaction materials such as adhesives and potting compounds.

Metering systems for bonding and sealing
For bonding and sealing, DOPAG offers a range of metering and mixing systems that can be tailored to the specific application. Single-component adhesives and sealants can be applied with metering and dispensing valves from DOPAG, such as in shot or bead form. For precise, reproducible processing of two-component materials, DOPAG offers a reliable piston metering system in the form of vectomix. This enables interior parts, electronic components or casing covers, for example, to be reliably bonded and sealed.
Production of composites parts
Lightweight design is used in the automotive industry whenever weight needs to be reduced. DOPAG offers a range of metering and mixing systems for the production of composite parts made from glass fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP) or carbon fibre-reinforced plastics (CRP). This includes systems for all applications relating to the production of composites, from RTM applications and filament winding to pultrusion. The metering and mixing systems compomix or eldomix would be suitable for these types of applications. They process materials based on polyurethane or epoxy resin reliably, with precise reproducibility.

Thermal energy has to be evenly distributed and discharged in a wide range of components, also in order to protect neighbouring components. The delicate components often need to be sealed up and protected from moisture. DOPAG offers special metering and mixing systems for processing of the thermal interface materials required. These are suitable for the potting of sensor electronics, such as for headlamp range control, adaptive driving systems or driver assistance systems like tiredness sensors or airbags. For the processing of thermal interface materials with a high volume of abrasive fillers, DOPAG offers a hard-wearing, reliable solution with high process reliability in the form of vectomix TC.
